The consultants who join the team are :
Either young graduates from business schools, engineering colleges, political science institutes or law schools
Or experienced professionals who have worked in consultancy, for local authorities, in banks or for public service operators.
In its recruitment process, Espelia actively seeks candidates who have the potential to obtain new qualifications. Atypical candidates are looked upon positively.
The primary qualities sought are the capacity to solve problems and to cut to the heart of an issue, methodological rigour, creativity and the capacity to work in a team. A working knowledge of at least one foreign language is a strong asset.
The recruitment process at Espelia includes a psychological and technical test and a series of interviews with senior consultants which include role plays (case studies).
Every year, Espelia recruits interns. Long internships taking place just before graduation are encouraged. Interns are fully integrated into the Espelia team. They each have a mentor who will accompany them throughout their internship.
An internship at Espelia enables you to rapidly acquire a sound understanding of how the public sector functions, as well as operational expertise. This is an excellent way of winning your spurs in the professional world.
Many interns are offered a contract at the end of their internship.
