Organization of a training cycle for DOM communities managing water and sanitation services
Agence Française de Développement (AFD)
Context and challenges
The DOM Water Action Plan is the culmination of an important work of diagnosis and strategic assessment of the water and sanitation services issues in the territories of Guadeloupe, Martinique, St Martin, Guyana, Réunion and Mayotte. It proposes a new intervention framework allowing the empowerment of all the actors concerned (organizing authorities, donors, sovereign services, etc.) around these strategic issues and their translation into operational objectives. Co-financed by AFD and AFB, the training conducted by Espelia aims to strengthen the Communities' ownership of the initiative and equip them to carry out their Progress Contract.
