The Casa Anfa urban operation constitutes a new central node at the scale Casablanca metropolis, and Morocco as a whole. The project is unusual in its size (4.3 million m2 built on a 350-hectare plot of land), since it involves building the financial heart of the Kingdom, within a veritable new city comprising thousands of housing units, the necessary services, and a large urban park.
Among these multiple issues, the question of parking appears to be particularly central, as it affects all aspects of life in the future district and the economic balance of the operation. Moreover, the scale of the operation will probably lead to the development of a new approach to the consideration of parking in urban operations, and in particular new economic and contractual models.
Faced with the magnitude of these challenges, the Anfa Urbanization and Development Agency (AUDA), has surrounded itself with a team of high-level specialists in parking and, more globally, in mobility and contractual arrangements, to help it define and then implement its policy for the creation and operation of parking spaces for the development of the new district.
