On the 8th of June, our consultants carried out a workshop in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The workshop was a key step of the feasibility study for the development of a national Internet of Things (IoT) platform, led by the Ministry of Post and Telecomunication (MPTC) and the French Development Agency (AFD).
This platform would aim notably to improve the delivery and management of urban services in Cambodia. The workshop gathered national and local public officials, private stakeholders and academic actors and aimed to identify challenges and use cases relevant for the IoT Platform in the transportation, health, solid waste management, energy, agriculture and disaster risk management sectors.
