Espelia's Asia agency participated in the conference "Towards 2050: Future Bangkok as a Resilient and Livable City" on June 18 at Bangkok Metropolitan Administration's City Hall. Urban areas face various challenges intensified by climate change, including unplanned expansion, population growth, pollution, extreme weather conditions, and biodiversity loss.
To address these challenges and develop a long-term vision for Bangkok, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), in collaboration with the French Embassy in Thailand, Agence Française de Développement (AFD), Urban Design and Development Center, and Chulalongkorn University, organized a workshop with Thai, French, and international experts to share knowledge and experiences.
Espelia looks forward to contributing to the future resilience and livability of Asian cities, including Bangkok, where our consultant Ombline de Saint Léon is based.
