Agadir – pricing policy development for the city's public transport

With the structural changes that Greater Agadir is currently experiencing, a Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan has begun to take into account the new mobility conditions in the agglomeration. The study in question will be a reference base for operational planning relating to all short- and medium-term political decisions and for defining a long-term shared vision for the organization of the movement of people and goods, the circulation and parking within its perimeter.

In this context, transport fares are a central and often sensitive subject for cities looking to elevate service quality for passengers. Espelia, alongside our partner BJConsult, organised for Agadir Mobilité a series of focus groups with public transport users. These aimed to test out future fare policies for the metropolitan bus network, which will welcome its first BRT/Tram'Bus system in 2024.
