Resilient City and Stakeholders Engagement in Nga Bay, Vietnam

This January 2023, Espelia team conducted a field trip to Nga Bay in Vietnam to support the Agence Française de Développement for the Nga Bay resilient city project in Mekong Delta.

Ombline de Saint Léon, who is leading the elaboration of a Stakeholders Engagement Plan (SEP), and Ms. Pham Quynh Huong conducted interviews with public authorities, mass organizations, residents, and communities.

The SEP will notably define:

• the communication steps and methods,
• the consultation processes,
• the strategy to involve vulnerable groups
• the monitoring process as well as grievance mechanism to support the project implementation.
